BIOGRAPHY

Creating and expressing myself through various mediums has always been a way and form in which I acknowledge my existence and weight in this world. It helps me to feel tangible. My creative process has always been synonymous with life experience. It's difficult, its raw, stagnant, fearful, messy and so much more. It is through these experiences though that it leads me to feeling the sensations of liberation, release, and flow.

My art is an extension of not only myself but energies that exist within the atmospheres of this world and many others. I channel the images and voices that I see and hear both in my waking existence and through dreams.

 

To create and mark is a language that all of our ancestors have known and done since the dawn of time. It came as naturally as breathing, eating, and needing to survive.  This energy, guided by Irish, African, and Indiginous family and ancestors, speaks through me. It channels through navel, to the ridges of my spine, the valves of my heart, the essence of my eyes reaching to the many vast parts and crevices of this vessel.

I am an ecosystem of experience, emotion, knowledge and wisdom. Extending from every space. Honoring this means showing up fully in my darkness and light. Honoring the full vastness that is.
